PTI Awards
The PTI Awards Program is intended to recognize excellence in post-tensioning applications. Any structure that has been constructed or rehabilitated in the last 5 years which utilizes post-tensioning as a structural component is eligible. Entries may be submitted by the owner, architect, engineer, contractor, or post-tensioning supplier. Entries may also be submitted by students in a new category. The student submissions must be a structure built by a student or group of students. Built projects must incorporate post-tensioning strands that prestress a building component, and may be in the form of a sculpture or other scale model.
Winners were selected by a jury of distinguished professionals and were judged based on creativity, innovation, ingenuity, cost effectiveness, functionality, constructability and aesthetics.
2008 PTI Awards
The 2008 PTI Awards were presented May 5, 2008 at the 2008 PTI Conference and Exhibition. Maureen Slocum, Vice President and Group Publisher of Structural Engineer Magazine, presided as Master of Ceremonies.
